Jazz/Tap Audition at Rock West

Registration Begins:  9:00AM Audition Time:  9:30AM-11: 30AM

Audition Fee: $20

Level Requirement: Dancers must be level 2 Jazz/Tap to audition.

Class Requirement: Dancers must be enrolled in Jazz/Tap class (s) at Rock West and must meet the level requirements of their assigned Jazz/Tap level, plus additional ballet requirement.  

Jazz Requirement: Jazz 2, 2x, 3:  1 jazz class and 1 ballet class per week required.
Jazz 3x: 2 jazz classes and 1 ballet class per week required.
Jazz 4-5:  3 jazz classes and 2 ballet classes per week required.

Tap Requirement: Tap 2, 3, 4: 1 Tap class per week required.

Participation Fee:  TBD

Rehearsals:  at Rock West on Saturday, Sunday and occasional weeknights.

Performances Scheduled as of August: 

Spring Performance at Swarthmore College.  Date: TBA (Usually early March)

New York City Dance Alliance Competition and Convention- Philadelphia PA-March 26th - 27th

Please Note: Due to the majority of Jazz/Tap company dancers also participating in The Nutcracker 1776, performances for the jazz/tap company take place primarily in the Spring, however rehearsals begin fall/winter.
